UPMC Pinnacle will contract with a new firm to handle its food and environment services, but employees in “good standing” will be offered jobs with the new firm, ABC 27 is reporting Tuesday. About 460 jobs are affected.

UPMC has selected Aramark Healthcare to provide the services at locations including Harrisburg, Community General and West Shore hospitals beginning March 31. Aramark replaces Sodexo, Inc., according to ABC 27.

A UPMC Pinnacle told ABC 27 that employees “in good standing” will receive offers to work for Aramark.
