We spoke up and our City Council members listened.
Thanks to a huge turnout from community members at the public hearing on July 17th, the entire City Council agreed to wait on approving UPMC’s plan for redeveloping the Mercy Hospital campus until they agree to a Community Health Benefits Agreement that puts the needs of our community first.
But UPMC is trying to pressure City Council members to change their minds. We can’t let that happen.
Call or email your City Council members today!
Let them know you have their back and support their strong stand for a Community Health Benefits Agreement.
